Founded by sisters Ashtin Nelson and Kaitlyn Black, Gathered Minds brings together backgrounds in education, cognitive development, communication, and enrichment with a shared belief in lifelong learning and meaningful connection.
Ashtin combines a background in education and business with training in the Feuerstein approach to mediated learning and cognitive development. Her passion for teaching and enrichment helps shape engaging programs designed to encourage learning, connection, and continued growth.
Kaitlyn is a Speech-Language Pathologist with a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her clinical experience in communication, cognition, and swallowing brings a therapeutic perspective to Gathered Minds and its commitment to meaningful, lifelong development.
